Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.- Matthew 28:19-20
At the Project 180 Leadership Institute we embrace the Great Commission. Our goal is to provide an environment that nurtures the talents, abilities, and interests that God has place in each of us along with a variety of outlets to use them to minister to others. Training and equipping futures is accomplished here with hands-on ministry experience, a fully accredited college education, and most importantly helping students to foster a deeper relationship with God. Our program last for nine months, beginning in August and ending in May.
Our students participate in various ministries both at our base church, Christ Chapel, and across the country. We engage in all types of ministries. This year we have been actively involved in childrens churches, music ministry, dramas and skits, media and graphic design, domestic missionary outreaches, veterans services, youth ministries and other church services around the country.
Project 180 offers a dual enrollment with Valley Forge Christian College Woodbridge Campus. What this means is that students are not only gaining great ministry training and discipleship but also a fully accredited bachelor's degree. Majors offered at Valley Forge Christian College range from theology to business administration to psychology to children's education. There are a large variety of fields and disciples covered by the majors offered at Valley Forge. Credits are transferable to any accredited college or university.
The main focus of our program is to build a deeper relationship with God. Students begin the day with devotion to God. Prayer and Bible study are a focus for students as well. Lessons and classes center around deep Biblical topics to help disciple and build students stronger in the things of God. Students also attend weekly Bible studies, church services, along with their own independent "quiet time" with God.
The Project 180 Leadership Institute is a leadership and discipleship program like none other. We want to help our students seek God in such a way that not only is a deeper relationship formed, but they see the great power that they have through Him. Students from around the world have come to Project 180 and unlocked their new identity in Christ. Our goal is not only to see students changed forever but to impact the world as that change. An accredited college education, hands-on ministry experience, missions trips and outreach, and relationships that can last a lifetime. We are located in Northern Virginia about twenty miles south of Washington, D.C.
The Project 180 Leadership Institute is a place to seek God and the purpose that He has for your life. Our program is built to help students unlock their talents and interests as well help direct them towards ministry. Project 180 students do everything from singing and playing instruments to graphic design and dramas. We work together to create new and innovative ministry tools such as skits, songs, human videos, drumlines, and even multimedia design. Our goal is to help students begin to see both their purpose and potential in Jesus Christ. Each person has the potential to make an impact on the world. We want you see the potential that you have in Jesus Christ and embrace the power that He has given you. With that power, YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
The Project 180 Leadership Institute is about learning and executing. Our students participate in all sorts of classes and workshops. Strong spiritual leaders help grow students as both leaders and as followers of Jesus Christ. We visit various churches throughout the year and host dynamic guest speakers from around the nation. Students also minister to others around the country. Whether we are working in our community or on a missions trip we are constantly putting the things that we learn into practice.
Project 180 students get the opportunity to engage many forms of ministry. Our students are active in everything from music and worship to children's church to youth ministry to homeless outreach. Every student participates in ministries around our community and the nation. We encourage students to bring new ideas to the ministry that they are interested in. Our students are creative and innovative and we want them to unlock their potential in life and service to Christ.
We focus on God at Project 180. The Five Pillars of our institute are:
Prayer and Meditation
Scripture Memorization
Evangelism

Project 180 Leadership Institute has been a major blessing in my life. The reason why is because I came to know Jesus Christ in Project 180. I came from a background of not knowing who I truly was in life. Being in Project 180 has taught me how to respect myself and others around me. It has stretched me to be the person that God wants me to be! I have also gained a family in Christ that loves me for me! I LOVE PROJECT 180!

Project 180 has allowed me to both grow closer to God and discover more about His plan for my life. I have had a lot of things happen to me that made think that God would not use me. Since I have been here God has been showing Himself to me and using me in new ways! Being at Project 180 is allowing me to receive my education while learning about myself and Jesus Christ.
